A Gurgaon BPO with 500+ agents still owes clients SLA proof on billable seats. Hybrid KPO teams split between Sector 42 and WFH need one attendance standard, not self-reported timesheets. EnDetect processes billions of logs across 10k+ deployments. **How EnDetect helps:** - Attendance, idle detection, and auto-screenshots: the three most adopted features on remote and WFH rollouts - Real-time activity timelines replace manual WFH timesheets for BPO, KPO, and IT delivery benches - Live view on PRO and Enterprise: authorized supervisors monitor the employee work screen in real time - Hybrid KPO attendance: same idle and active metrics whether staff is in Gurgaon or at home - Gurgaon BPO pattern: hourly utilization exports for client SLA and billing evidence - Manager dashboards aggregate team productivity for coaching, not micromanagement - ROI: PRO at ₹280/month vs ₹50k/month employee; 1 recovered hour/day ≈ 22x return **ROI metrics:** - 22x: ROI: PRO ₹280/mo vs 1 hr/day on ₹50k employee - 10k+: Deployments including Gurgaon BPO and hybrid KPO - 28%: Billable hours recovered on remote support floors **Quote:** "We deployed EnDetect for our 400-person remote team and within 30 days, productivity rose by 22%. Attendance and idle data showed 30 agents consistently inactive during peak hours. Targeted coaching fixed it without adding headcount." (Aditya K., VP Operations, Fintech Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** Is remote employee monitoring software legal for WFH staff in India? **A:** Yes, with clear employee notice, legitimate purpose, and DPDP-aligned retention. EnDetect is deployed on 10k+ Indian teams. HR should publish policy before rollout. Attendance and idle tracking are the most common starting features. **Q:** How does EnDetect handle screen monitoring vs employee photo capture for remote teams? **A:** Live view on PRO and Enterprise monitors the employee's work screen in real time. That is screen monitoring, a separate capability from camera capture. Identity Verification (optional add-on) captures employee photos via webcam on a regular schedule, at random intervals, or on demand when admins need to confirm who is at the keyboard. Most deployments start with attendance, idle time, and screenshots. **Q:** Can one dashboard cover office and WFH employees? **A:** Yes. Hybrid KPO teams use the same agent and policies whether someone works from Sector 42 Gurgaon or from home. Billions of indexed logs make cross-location comparisons fair for reviews. --- # Employee Screen Monitoring Software URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/live-monitoring Live view for sensitive-data desks (NBFC, claims, hospital billing) plus auto-screenshots on every plan across 10k+ deployments Live screen view on PRO for NBFC loan desks and sensitive workflows. Real-time screen monitoring plus auto-screenshots on all plans. 10k+ deployments. **Challenge:** Security and ops leaders need visibility when policy breaches happen in real time, not after yesterday's report. An NBFC operations team needed live view on credit desks where customer PII fills the screen, while attendance and screenshots handled the wider back office. Most deployments (attendance, idle, screenshots) do not need live view; sensitive-data roles do. **How EnDetect helps:** - Live view on PRO and Enterprise: real-time screen monitoring for NBFC loan desks, claims, and hospital billing counters - Auto-screenshots on all plans: the most adopted capture method across 10k+ deployments - Real-time activity feed with app and website context for floor supervisors - Identity Verification add-on (separate): employee photo capture via webcam on a schedule, randomly, or on demand - Attendance and idle tracking on roles that do not need continuous live oversight - Smart alerts on policy violations and risky behavior (PRO and Enterprise) - Multi-monitor and VDI support for BPO and financial back-office floors - Scope live view to sensitive-data desks, not every seat (included on PRO and Enterprise) **ROI metrics:** - ₹280: PRO plan per user/month (includes live screen view) - Live screen: One feature on PRO and Enterprise, not a separate charge - 10k+: Deployments; live view scoped to sensitive-data roles **Quote:** "Our NBFC enabled live view on loan-processing desks while attendance and screenshots covered the rest of the back office. Floor managers caught three policy issues the same day they started." (Operations Lead, Multi-site BPO) **FAQs:** **Q:** What is employee screen monitoring software? **A:** It captures or streams what appears on a work screen: scheduled screenshots (all plans), activity logs, or authorized live view (PRO+). Across 10k+ deployments, attendance, idle, and screenshots are adopted first; live view targets sensitive-data desks like NBFC credit processing. **Q:** Is live screen view included in CORE? **A:** No. CORE includes automatic screenshots, attendance, and idle tracking. Live screen view is included on PRO and Enterprise for supervisors who need same-shift visibility on sensitive workflows. **Q:** Is live view the same as webcam or camera monitoring? **A:** No. Live view monitors the employee's work screen in real time on PRO and Enterprise. Camera photo capture is a separate Identity Verification add-on: admins capture employee photos via webcam on a regular schedule, at random intervals, or on demand. EnDetect supports both screen monitoring and identity photo capture when your policy requires them. **Q:** Can BPO clients accept EnDetect screenshots as proof? **A:** Many BPO clients accept timestamped screenshots and utilization reports from Gurgaon-scale floors (500+ agents). Configure intervals to match contract language and pair with shift analytics from billions of indexed logs. --- # Insider Threat Prevention URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/insider-threat Elevated monitoring on notice-period staff, bulk-download alerts, and forensic add-on used on ~20% of high-risk seats Notice-period forensic protocol for IT and BFSI teams. Bulk-download alerts, USB tracking, and behavior baselines from billions of logs across 10k+ deployments. **Challenge:** An IT services engineer submits notice and spends two weeks copying repos, credentials, and client exports. You find out three months later at a competitor pitch. EnDetect's notice-period protocol (forensic add-on on ~20% of seats) flags bulk downloads and off-hours access while attendance and screenshots cover the wider team. **How EnDetect helps:** - Notice-period elevated monitoring: the IT industry pattern for departing engineers on repo and cloud access - Baseline normal behavior per user from billions of logs; flag deviations automatically (PRO and Enterprise alerts) - Mass file download alerts (>50 files in 10 min triggers instant notification) - Off-hours access detection: who is working at 2 AM before last working day? - USB and file copy tracking with Lite DLP add-on on high-value roles - Departing employee protocol with tamper-evident evidence capture for HR and legal - Attendance and idle tracking on standard seats; forensic and alerts on ~20% high-risk roles **ROI metrics:** - ~20%: Of accounts enable forensic on high-risk seats - 90%: Of insider incidents flagged before exit (typical) - 22x: ROI vs cost of one IP leak on PRO plan **Quote:** "A departing senior engineer tried to copy 2,000 files to a USB drive. EnDetect notice-period alerts blocked the transfer and notified our IT head in real time. We avoided a major IP theft incident." (Priya M., CISO, SaaS Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** When should we enable notice-period monitoring? **A:** Enable elevated monitoring when an employee submits resignation and still has access to repos, CRM, or client data. IT services firms use forensic add-on on departing engineers; the pattern appears in ~20% of EnDetect accounts focused on IP-heavy roles. **Q:** Does every employee need insider-threat alerts? **A:** No. Most deployments start with attendance, idle, and screenshots. Smart alerts and forensic mode target high-risk seats: notice-period staff, privileged admins, and roles with bulk data access. **Q:** Can we investigate past incidents without live monitoring? **A:** Yes. Billions of indexed logs support retrospective timeline reconstruction. Forensic add-on provides keystroke and URL depth for authorized HR and legal investigations. --- # Data Loss Prevention (DLP) URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/data-protection Lite DLP add-on for endpoint USB, cloud, and print controls on top of attendance and screenshot baselines Lite DLP add-on: USB blocking, cloud upload controls, print restrictions. Layered on attendance and screenshots from 10k+ deployments processing billions of logs. **Challenge:** Data leaves through USB drives, personal Gmail, WhatsApp Web, Dropbox, and printed documents. Perimeter security does not cover endpoint movement. Most teams start with attendance, idle, and screenshots; Lite DLP adds channel controls on roles that touch PHI, loan files, or R&D data. **How EnDetect helps:** - Lite DLP add-on: block USB outright or whitelist approved devices on sensitive roles - Prevent uploads to 100+ personal cloud services on NBFC, pharma, and publishing workstations - Monitor and restrict print jobs by document sensitivity on hospital admin and legal matter desks - Track clipboard activity for unusual copy-paste patterns before bulk exports - Layer DLP on attendance and screenshot baselines already running on 10k+ deployments - Shadow IT discovery: find unsanctioned cloud apps across billions of indexed activity logs - PRO at ₹280/user/month base plus Lite DLP on seats that handle regulated or IP data **ROI metrics:** - 90%: Fewer uncontrolled exports after Lite DLP rollout - Lite DLP: Add-on layered on attendance baseline - 100%: Visibility into USB, cloud, and print channels **Quote:** "We manufacture pharmaceutical products. R&D data is our most valuable asset. EnDetect Lite DLP on top of attendance and screenshots gives us control over every channel data could leave through." (Rakesh S., Head of IT Security, Pharma Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** Do I need DLP on every workstation? **A:** No. Most rollouts start with attendance, idle, and screenshots. Lite DLP targets roles with PHI, financial PII, CAD, or manuscript access. NBFC loan desks often pair live view with DLP on the same seats. **Q:** Is Lite DLP included in PRO? **A:** Lite DLP is an add-on on PRO and Enterprise. PRO (₹280/user/month) includes attendance, idle, screenshots, and live view. Add Lite DLP where endpoint channel control is required. **Q:** Can DLP work with on-premise deployment? **A:** Yes. Government, healthcare, and utility customers deploy on-prem with Lite DLP policies on admin and back-office workstations handling citizen or patient data. --- # Employee Productivity Monitoring Software URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/productivity Attendance, idle detection, and daily productivity scores: the most adopted EnDetect features across 10k+ deployments Attendance, idle tracking, and daily scores from billions of logs. Most common EnDetect adoption path. PRO ₹280/user/month, ~22x ROI on ₹50k employees. **Challenge:** HR and managers cannot identify top performers and disengaged employees when teams split across Gurgaon floors and WFH. Subjective chat presence is not evidence. Across 10k+ deployments, attendance, idle detection, and screenshots are the first features adopted because they replace guesswork with data. **How EnDetect helps:** - Attendance, idle time, and daily productivity scores: the three most adopted features in EnDetect rollouts - App usage heatmaps showing peak productive hours per team and shift - Employee performance trends over weeks, not one snapshot, from billions of indexed logs - Team comparisons to identify outliers and coaching opportunities on BPO and IT floors - Gurgaon BPO pattern: hourly utilization scorecards for client SLA reporting - Hybrid KPO attendance: fair metrics for in-office and WFH staff on the same dashboard - PRO at ₹280/user/month: 1 recovered hour/day on a ₹50k/month employee ≈ 22x ROI **ROI metrics:** - 22x: ROI: PRO ₹280/mo vs 1 hr/day on ₹50k employee - 35%: Average productivity increase after data-driven coaching - 10k+: Deployments; attendance and idle most adopted **Quote:** "Our HR team now has objective attendance and idle data for performance reviews. We stopped arguing about who is productive and who is not. The data settles it." (Shreya T., Chief People Officer, IT Services Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** How is productivity measured? **A:** EnDetect tracks attendance, active vs idle time, and classifies apps against your policies. Daily scores combine these signals. Across 10k+ deployments, attendance and idle are adopted before live view or forensic features. **Q:** Will employees see their own stats? **A:** You can enable employee self-view where policy allows. Transparent programs improve trust. Most teams share attendance and idle summaries while restricting live view to supervisors. **Q:** Does this replace performance reviews? **A:** No. Productivity data is one input alongside deliverables and manager feedback. It reduces bias in remote, hybrid, and multi-shift teams where presence alone is misleading. --- # Identity Verification URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/identity-verification Stop proxy work on BPO floors with employee photo capture via webcam, paired with attendance and screenshot context Identity Verification add-on for BPO proxy-work prevention. Pairs with attendance and screenshots on PRO. Gurgaon-scale contact centers on 10k+ deployments. **Challenge:** On remote and outsourced BPO floors, proxy work is common: one employee logs in for another, or a skilled worker handles the queue while someone else gets billing credit. A Gurgaon BPO billing 500+ FTEs needed proof that the logged-in agent matched the billed seat. **How EnDetect helps:** - Employee photo capture from workstation webcam (Identity Verification add-on on PRO and Enterprise) - Scheduled, random, or on-demand capture paired with attendance and screenshot context - On-demand verification: managers request a photo during SLA audit windows - Inconsistency alerts when verification patterns look unusual across a shift - Time-stamped verification logs for HR evidence on outsourced and WFH agents - Works alongside attendance and idle tracking, the most adopted BPO features - Fixing 80 proxy seats paid back EnDetect 10x over on one Gurgaon deployment **ROI metrics:** - 10x: Payback from fixing proxy work on one BPO floor - Add-on: PRO and Enterprise with attendance baseline - 500+: Agent floors use verification for client SLA proof **Quote:** "We were billing clients for 500 FTEs but Identity Verification revealed 80 cases of proxy work. Fixing that alone paid for EnDetect 10x over." (Mohit R., Operations Director, BPO Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** Is Identity Verification required for every agent? **A:** No. Most BPO floors start with attendance, idle, and screenshots. Identity Verification is an add-on for clients that require proof the billed agent is at the keyboard, common on Gurgaon-scale outsourced floors. **Q:** How is Identity Verification different from live screen view? **A:** Live screen view (PRO and Enterprise) monitors what appears on the employee's work screen in real time. Identity Verification uses the workstation webcam to capture employee photos on a regular schedule, at random intervals, or on demand. EnDetect supports both: screen activity monitoring and identity photo capture when your policy requires them. **Q:** Which plans include Identity Verification? **A:** Identity Verification is an add-on on PRO (₹280/user/month) and Enterprise. CORE includes attendance, idle, and screenshots without photo verification. --- # Forensic Investigation URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/forensic-investigation Forensic add-on for notice-period IT staff and HR investigations: used on ~20% of seats, not every workstation Forensic add-on: keystroke logs, URL history, auditor sessions. IT notice-period protocol across 10k+ deployments. ~20% of accounts enable on high-risk seats. **Challenge:** A data leak, fraud claim, or misconduct accusation needs concrete evidence, but standard activity logs are too sparse. IT services firms enable forensic mode on notice-period engineers (~20% of seats) while attendance and screenshots cover everyone else. Billions of indexed logs support deep reconstruction when incidents occur. **How EnDetect helps:** - IT notice-period forensic protocol: full keystroke and URL logging on departing engineers with repo access - Forensic add-on used on ~20% of seats (high-risk, notice-period, or investigation targets) - Complete website URL history with timestamps for HR and legal review - Deep activity timeline reconstruction from billions of indexed deployment logs - Auditor sessions with set time windows (e.g. 2 hours or 5 hours) for focused investigations - Legal-grade evidence package export with investigator access audit trail - Standard seats keep attendance, idle, and screenshots; forensic depth only where authorized **ROI metrics:** - ~20%: Of accounts enable forensic on targeted seats - 65%: Faster investigation resolution vs manual logs - 22x: ROI vs cost of one unresolved IP or fraud case **Quote:** "An employee was accused of leaking tender information to a competitor. EnDetect forensic logs reconstructed every action over 3 days. The IT notice-period protocol had been enabled from day one of resignation." (Legal Counsel, Government PSU) **FAQs:** **Q:** Should forensic mode run on every employee? **A:** No. Across 10k+ deployments, ~20% of accounts enable forensic on specific seats: notice-period IT staff, conduct investigations, and privileged roles. Most employees stay on attendance, idle, and screenshots. **Q:** What triggers an IT notice-period forensic rollout? **A:** Enable when an engineer submits resignation and retains access to source code, client environments, or credentials. The IT services pattern: elevated forensic logging from notice date through last working day. **Q:** Is forensic evidence admissible for HR and legal cases? **A:** EnDetect exports tamper-evident timelines with admin audit trails on who accessed investigation data. Legal teams use these packages for internal conduct, tender-leak, and IP theft cases. --- # Hybrid Workforce Management URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/hybrid-workforce One attendance and idle dashboard for office, WFH, and field staff: the hybrid KPO pattern on 10k+ deployments Hybrid KPO attendance: same idle and active metrics for Gurgaon office and WFH days. One platform, billions of logs, PRO from ₹280/user/month. **Challenge:** Hybrid policies are easy to write but hard to enforce. A hybrid KPO split between Sector 42 Gurgaon and WFH needed one attendance standard, not separate tools for each group. Managers reconciled inconsistent reports while compliance gaps grew. **How EnDetect helps:** - Hybrid KPO attendance: identical idle and active metrics for in-office and WFH days - Single dashboard for campus, home, and client-site employees across 10k+ deployments - Location-aware policies (office vs home vs VPN) without separate tools per work mode - Attendance and idle tracking on all plans; live view on PRO for ops and support leads - Comparable productivity metrics so Gurgaon office days and WFH days review fairly - Audit logs show where work happened, indexed in billions of cross-location events - PRO at ₹280/user/month: 1 hr/day recovered on a ₹50k/month hybrid employee ≈ 22x ROI **ROI metrics:** - 22x: ROI: PRO ₹280/mo vs 1 hr/day on ₹50k employee - 40%: Less time reconciling hybrid reports - 1: Platform for office, WFH, and field modes **Quote:** "We went hybrid after 2020 but never had one source of truth. EnDetect gave HR the same attendance and idle metrics whether someone was in Gurgaon or WFH." (HR Director, IT Services Firm) **FAQs:** **Q:** How do hybrid KPO teams avoid unfair WFH vs office comparisons? **A:** EnDetect applies the same attendance, idle, and app-classification policies regardless of location. Hybrid KPO deployments in Gurgaon use one agent config for Sector 42 and home days so reviews compare like for like. **Q:** Do field staff need different policies than desk staff? **A:** Yes. Location-aware rules let you set stricter DLP or live view on office desks while field roles get attendance-focused policies. One platform, scoped policies per role. **Q:** Can hybrid attendance feed payroll? **A:** Exportable attendance and idle reports integrate with payroll and HRIS workflows. Billions of indexed logs support audit-ready hybrid time records. --- # Compliance & Audit Readiness URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/compliance-auditing Hospital admin logging, RBI-ready exports, and tamper-evident trails from billions of logs across 10k+ deployments Hospital admin workstation logging, RBI and HIPAA-ready exports, retention controls. Evidence packs from 10k+ deployments processing billions of audit logs. **Challenge:** Auditors ask who accessed what, when policies fired, and how monitoring respects privacy. A hospital group needed admin workstation logging for billing and records staff, not just clinical systems. Spreadsheets and manual screenshots do not scale across hundreds of users. **How EnDetect helps:** - Hospital admin logging: EMR access trails, billing workstation activity, and role-based retention for non-clinical staff - Tamper-evident activity and admin audit logs indexed across billions of deployment events - Configurable retention: 90 days (CORE), 1 year (PRO), custom (Enterprise) - PDF and CSV exports on PRO and Enterprise for RBI, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 audits - Compliance dashboard mapped to GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 (Enterprise) - Attendance and screenshot baselines provide daily evidence; forensic (~20%) for investigations - PRO plan includes 1-year retention, exports, and live view for regulated back-office teams (from ₹280/user/month) **ROI metrics:** - 50%: Faster audit preparation with auto exports - 1 year: Retention on PRO for regulated teams - 10k+: Deployments with compliance-ready logs **Quote:** "Our ISO surveillance audit used EnDetect exports instead of ad-hoc emails from team leads. Hospital admin logging for billing staff was the clearest workforce evidence the auditor had seen that year." (GRC Manager, Healthcare Group) **FAQs:** **Q:** What does hospital admin logging cover? **A:** EnDetect logs workstation activity on billing, registration, scheduling, and records desks: attendance, idle time, EMR access patterns, and screenshots. Clinical live view is scoped to roles that handle PHI on screen. **Q:** Which retention tier do NBFC and hospital audits need? **A:** The PRO plan (from ₹280/user/month) includes 1-year retention, PDF/CSV exports, live screen view, smart alerts, and supervisor access. Enterprise adds custom retention and compliance dashboard mapping for large regulated groups. **Q:** Can auditors access evidence without seeing live screens? **A:** Yes. Export packs include attendance, idle, screenshot, and policy-violation history. Live view is for supervisors; auditors receive static, timestamped evidence packages. --- # Shift & Workforce Analytics URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/shift-workforce-analytics Gurgaon BPO SLA scorecards, night-shift adherence, and peak-hour dashboards from billions of shift logs Gurgaon BPO 500+ agent SLA proof with shift attendance and idle analytics. 24/7 ops on 10k+ deployments. PRO ₹280/user/month. **Challenge:** Night shifts, weekend crews, and seasonal spikes make averages misleading. A Gurgaon BPO running 500+ agents across day and night shifts needed SLA proof by hour, not monthly averages. Without shift-level attendance and idle data, managers overstaff slow periods and miss peak gaps. **How EnDetect helps:** - Gurgaon BPO pattern: hourly attendance and idle scorecards for 500+ agent SLA reporting - Automatic shift and break detection across day, night, and weekend crews - Peak vs off-peak productivity comparisons from billions of indexed shift logs - Team and site benchmarks for floor managers on 24/7 BPO, retail, and e-commerce ops - Overtime and idle-time trend reports with exportable client evidence - Handover summaries for rotating supervisors between A, B, and C shifts - Alerts when adherence drops below thresholds (PRO and Enterprise smart alerts) **ROI metrics:** - 28%: Billable hour recovery on Gurgaon BPO floors - 24/7: Visibility for always-on shift operations - 22x: ROI: PRO ₹280/mo vs 1 hr/day on ₹50k agent lead **Quote:** "We run three shifts across two cities. Shift analytics showed which teams miss the first hour of productivity. Fixing that on our Gurgaon floor saved a full-time hire per shift." (Operations Manager, E-Commerce Fulfillment) **FAQs:** **Q:** How does shift analytics support BPO client SLAs? **A:** EnDetect exports hourly attendance, idle, and utilization data per agent and team. Gurgaon-scale BPO floors (500+ agents) use these reports for client SLA reviews and billing evidence alongside auto-screenshots. **Q:** Can shift data compare across two cities? **A:** Yes. Site and shift benchmarks from 10k+ deployments let ops leads compare Pune night shift vs Gurgaon day shift on the same dashboard. **Q:** Do night shifts need different policies than day shifts? **A:** You can set shift-specific idle thresholds and alert rules. Night crews often have different productive-app profiles than day sales or support floors. --- # Shadow Coaching & Expert Replay URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/shadow-coaching Replay expert workflows without all-day pairing: builds on attendance and screenshot baselines from 10k+ deployments Session replay and live view for coaching juniors on deployments, tickets, and support flows. Available on PRO and Enterprise. Works across SaaS, IT, and BPO teams. **Challenge:** Senior staff cannot sit beside every new hire. A Gurgaon BPO training 50 agents per month cannot pair seniors full time. Low performers miss tacit steps in ticket handling, CI/CD fixes, and client workflows. LMS videos go stale; attendance data alone does not show how experts work. **How EnDetect helps:** - Record and replay expert sessions: deployments, releases, CI/CD hotfixes, and ticket escalations - Live view on PRO lets managers coach in the moment, then save the flow for others - Screenshot and activity timelines show every click, app, and terminal step - Build a library of real handled tickets and incidents from billions of indexed sessions - Pairs with attendance and idle data to identify who needs coaching vs who is already active - Works for SaaS, IT, BPO, insurance, and hospitality desk workflows - Available on PRO and Enterprise: replaces weeks of senior 1:1 walkthroughs per new hire class **ROI metrics:** - 3x: Faster ramp for junior engineers and agents - 22x: ROI vs senior time spent on repeat walkthroughs - Real: Processes from 10k+ deployment playbooks **Quote:** "We replayed how our lead SRE handled a failed pipeline and trained three mid-level engineers in one week. It replaced weeks of ad-hoc screen shares on our hybrid delivery bench." (Engineering Manager, B2B SaaS Company) **FAQs:** **Q:** Does shadow coaching require live view on every employee? **A:** No. Record sessions from senior staff on PRO live view, then replay to juniors. Most of the team stays on attendance, idle, and screenshots; coaching libraries grow from expert seats only. **Q:** Can BPO floors use replay for client workflow training? **A:** Yes. Gurgaon and hybrid KPO teams replay how top agents handle escalations, CRM steps, and client-specific tools. New hires ramp faster than generic LMS content. **Q:** Who controls access to recorded coaching sessions? **A:** Role-based controls define who can view, record, and export sessions. Privacy policies scope replay to training leads and team managers. --- # Contractor & Vendor Access Control URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/contractor-vendor-access Scoped attendance and DLP for freelancers, agencies, and design partners on shared projects Contractor session monitoring with attendance, Lite DLP, and time-bound access. Automotive, construction, and media teams on 10k+ deployments. **Challenge:** Contractors need system access to deliver but are not on payroll and often work for others. Design files, bid models, and grant lists walk out through vendor laptops. Scoped attendance and Lite DLP on contractor identities protect shared projects without enterprise-wide overreach. **How EnDetect helps:** - Dedicated policies for contractor and vendor identities with attendance and idle baselines - Activity and file-movement logs on shared project folders before bid and launch milestones - Lite DLP add-on for USB, personal cloud, and email controls on external users - Time-bound access windows aligned to contract end dates with auto-expiry reminders - Smart alerts on bulk download before program or bid milestones (PRO and Enterprise) - Forensic add-on (~20% of vendor incidents) for evidence when a design or bid leak is traced to a partner - Automotive, construction, media, and nonprofit patterns from 10k+ deployments **ROI metrics:** - Scoped: Policies per vendor or project - Full: Audit trail on contractor sessions - 22x: ROI vs cost of one design or bid leak **Quote:** "Our exterior design contractor had access to OEM program files. EnDetect flagged a mass copy attempt two weeks before SOP. We revoked access and contained the leak." (Program Director, Automotive Supplier) **FAQs:** **Q:** Do contractors get the same monitoring as employees? **A:** You scope policies per identity. Contractors typically get attendance, idle, and Lite DLP on project folders without live view unless the contract requires it. **Q:** Can access auto-expire when a vendor contract ends? **A:** Yes. Time-bound windows align agent install and policy scope to contract dates. Bulk-download alerts fire before milestone dates on shared bid and design folders. **Q:** What happens when a contractor leak is suspected? **A:** Forensic add-on (~20% of investigation cases) reconstructs vendor session timelines. Standard contractor seats keep attendance and file-movement logs for audit. --- # AI Work Accountability URL: https://endetect.com/use-cases/ai-work-accountability Compare AI tool time vs claimed hours with screenshots, optional forensic prompt capture, and attendance baselines from 10k+ deployments See ChatGPT, Copilot, and Midjourney time vs idle gaps and timesheets. Screenshots capture on-screen prompts; forensic add-on logs keystrokes and paste actions. PRO from ₹280/user/month. **Challenge:** An employee logs six hours on a logo or report but used generative AI to finish in minutes, then filled the day with idle time. Managers on publishing, agency, and SaaS teams cannot coach or price work fairly without seeing AI tool usage against attendance and active-time data. **How EnDetect helps:** - App timelines show time on ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Midjourney, and similar tools vs idle gaps - Compare active work bursts to timesheets and project entries on top of attendance baselines - Automatic screenshots on all plans capture visible on-screen text, including AI prompts shown in the browser or app window - Forensic Investigation add-on logs full keystrokes and clipboard activity for authorized audit sessions, storing typed or pasted prompts when forensic mode is enabled - Detect staff who finish work quickly with AI but report slow manual progress while idle afterward - Productivity scores reflect real keyboard and app engagement, not inflated AI-assisted hours - Smart alerts on PRO flag long idle periods after short AI sessions - Publishing, agency, and SaaS patterns from billions of logs across 10k+ deployments - PRO at ₹280/user/month: 1 hr/day of fair utilization on a ₹50k/month creative ≈ 22x ROI **ROI metrics:** - 22x: ROI: PRO ₹280/mo vs 1 hr/day on ₹50k creative - Fair: Reviews based on attendance plus AI app time - 10k+: Deployments with activity timeline baselines **Quote:** "A designer billed a full day on a cover concept. Activity data showed 12 minutes in an image AI tool and hours idle. We fixed utilization and pricing the same week." (Studio Head, Publishing Group) **FAQs:** **Q:** Does EnDetect read AI prompt content? **A:** Yes, with the right plan and policy. Automatic screenshots on all plans can capture visible prompt text in AI tool windows. The Forensic Investigation add-on on PRO and Enterprise logs full keystrokes and clipboard activity during authorized audit sessions, so typed prompts, pasted prompts, and copy actions are stored when forensic mode is enabled. Standard AI accountability dashboards also use app timelines, attendance, idle gaps, and session duration vs claimed hours without always-on keystroke capture on every seat. **Q:** Can EnDetect catch employees who use AI but claim slow manual work? **A:** Yes. EnDetect compares AI app session length to timesheets, attendance, and idle time. A common pattern is a short ChatGPT or Copilot burst followed by hours idle while the employee tells managers the task is still in progress manually. Screenshots show what was on screen; forensic sessions capture prompts and paste actions when you need audit-grade proof. **Q:** Which teams adopt AI accountability first? **A:** Publishing, media, agencies, and SaaS content teams adopt it most often, layered on attendance and idle tracking already running on 10k+ deployments. **Q:** Can AI accountability feed performance reviews? **A:** Yes, as one input alongside deliverable quality. A designer billing a full day with 12 minutes in an image AI tool and hours idle is visible on the same dashboard as attendance data. --- # Employee Monitoring Software for Teams in India URL: https://endetect.com/guides/employee-monitoring-software-india Primary keyword: employee monitoring software india Employee monitoring built for India from billions of logs and 10,000+ deployments. DPDP-aware, PRO from ₹280/user, 10x+ ROI on one recovered hour. 7-day trial. Your Pune floor supervisor gets a client email at 9:12 AM: prove 180 agents were active during the US shift. HR is drafting a DPDP notice. Two resignations start Friday. You need evidence, not another spreadsheet war. Employee monitoring software in India tracks work activity on company devices: attendance, idle time, app usage, screenshots, and optional live view for sensitive roles. EnDetect has processed billions of activity logs across 10,000+ deployments. PRO costs ₹280 per user per month. Indian teams most often start with attendance, idle tracking, and screenshots before adding live view or forensic add-ons. ### What Indian teams actually turn on first Across EnDetect deployments in India, attendance tracking, idle detection, and configurable screenshots account for the majority of day-one rollouts. BPO floors in Noida and Hyderabad need timestamped proof that billable agents were active during client SLAs. IT services teams in Bangalore watch for bulk file copies before notice periods. NBFC back offices log USB activity and personal cloud uploads on shared workstations. Keystroke logging and full URL history stay reserved for investigations. Domain-level website categories handle productivity programs without storing every query string. Live screen view sits on PRO and Enterprise for roles that handle customer PII or payment data, not for every agent on the floor. **Key takeaway:** Start with attendance, idle time, and screenshots. Add live view only where sensitive data warrants it, and keep forensic depth for the roughly 20% of companies that run formal investigations. ### What billions of logs tell us about ROI Take a typical Indian knowledge worker on ₹50,000 per month. At 22 working days, one recovered productive hour per day is worth about ₹6,250 monthly (salary divided by 176 billable hours). PRO at ₹280 per user per month puts that at roughly 22x return if you recover a single hour daily. We quote 10x+ in headlines because not every seat gains a full hour, and some gains come from preventing one SLA miss or one notice-period leak rather than daily coaching. A 200-seat BPO on PRO at ₹280 pays ₹56,000 per month before annual discounts. One lost client from weak utilization proof often costs more than a year of monitoring. **Key takeaway:** Model ROI on one hour recovered per ₹50k salary seat: about ₹6,250 value against ₹280 PRO cost. Use 10x+ as a conservative planning number, not the ceiling. ### DPDP Act and employee notice that holds up The Digital Personal Data Protection Act expects purpose limitation, clear notice, and retention controls. Workforce monitoring is lawful when tied to security, productivity, or compliance, and when employees know what is collected before the agent installs. EnDetect helps IT publish scope in onboarding packs, restrict admin access by role, and export audit logs when HR or regulators ask. Pair platform settings with your legal team's monitoring policy. Self-view dashboards reduce "you were watching me" disputes when agents can see the same timeline their manager sees. **Key takeaway:** Notice before install, role-based admin access, and defined retention windows are non-negotiable for DPDP-aligned rollouts in India. ### Plans that match Indian SMB and BPO math CORE at ₹150 per user per month covers attendance, idle tracking, screenshots, and productivity dashboards. PRO at ₹280 adds live view, smart alerts, and exportable PDF reports. Enterprise from ₹900 covers compliance dashboards, SSO, and custom retention for RBI, HIPAA, or client audit requirements. Annual billing saves up to 20%. Forensic add-on (full keystroke and URL history) lands with about 20% of EnDetect customers, usually after a first HR or security incident. Identity Verification catches proxy attendance where client billing depends on the named agent. **Key takeaway:** Most Indian SMEs choose the PRO plan for supervisors, live view, smart alerts, and client-ready exports. CORE works for attendance-only pilots; Enterprise fits regulated sectors. ### How EnDetect fits BPO floors and hybrid teams Deploy silently via MSI across Gurgaon, Chennai, or WFH laptops. Floor managers see shift adherence, idle blocks, and app mix without opening 200 individual chats. One dashboard covers in-office and remote staff, so performance reviews use the same metrics whether someone sits in Sector 42 or works from Indore. EnDetect has shipped across 10,000+ deployments. Typical 200 to 500 seat BPO rollouts finish in one to two weeks: MSI push, BPO policy template, supervisor training on idle and screenshot review. **Key takeaway:** One agent, one dashboard for office and WFH. BPO templates and MSI deploy keep large Windows fleets off custom scripting. ### Your next step Pick one team of 20 to 50 seats for a 7-day PRO trial. Turn on attendance, idle alerts, and screenshots first. Add live view only for supervisors who handle client audits or sensitive data. Publish your DPDP notice before the MSI push, not after complaints arrive. Book a demo with your shift model and seat count. We will map CORE vs PRO against your client SLA language and show sample utilization exports from deployments similar to yours. **Key takeaway:** Run a scoped PRO trial on one floor, publish notice first, then expand. Request a quote with shift count so we model cost against your SLA risk honestly. **FAQs:** **Q:** Is employee monitoring legal in India? **A:** Yes, when employers have a legitimate purpose, provide clear notice, and respect DPDP Act principles on personal data. Consult your legal team for consent and retention wording. EnDetect supports role-based access and exportable audit trails. **Q:** Does EnDetect price in rupees? **A:** Yes. Indian visitors see INR by default: CORE from ₹150, PRO from ₹280, and Enterprise from ₹900 per user per month. USD pricing is available for global billing. **Q:** Can we monitor work-from-home staff? **A:** Yes. The same agent covers office and WFH devices. Activity timelines, idle tracking, and screenshots give managers evidence for client audits. Live view on PRO is optional for authorized supervisors handling sensitive workflows. **Q:** How fast can a BPO deploy? **A:** Most 200 to 500 seat rollouts complete in one to two weeks: MSI push, BPO policy template, and supervisor training. A 7-day trial lets you validate on one team first. **Q:** What is the difference between screenshots and live view? **A:** All plans include configurable automatic screenshots. Live screen view is on PRO and Enterprise for authorized supervisors, often used where customer PII or payment data is on screen. Forensic add-on adds full keystroke and URL history for about 20% of customers running formal investigations. --- # Best Employee Monitoring Software in India URL: https://endetect.com/guides/best-employee-monitoring-software-india Primary keyword: best employee monitoring software in india Compare employee monitoring software for Indian SMBs and BPOs. Built from 10,000+ deployments, rupee TCO, DPDP fit, PRO at ₹280, and honest trade-offs. EnDetect builds this tool. You are comparing vendors for a 150-seat KPO in Bangalore or a hybrid IT team in Gurgaon. The best pick is not the flashiest demo. It is the tool your supervisors will actually use for attendance proof, idle coaching, and client-ready exports without breaking DPDP notice rules. The best employee monitoring software in India combines transparent employee notice, rupee pricing, shift-friendly dashboards, and DPDP-aligned retention. EnDetect has processed billions of logs across 10,000+ deployments. Compare EnDetect, ActivTrak, Insightful, and local HR suites on live view, BPO identity checks, forensic depth, and total cost per seat before you buy. ### How we scored tools (methodology) We rated vendors on six criteria Indian buyers actually ask about in demos: rupee or predictable USD pricing, DPDP and audit export support, BPO shift analytics, live view and screenshot quality, Windows MSI deploy speed, and employee transparency (self-view, notice templates). Disclosure: EnDetect is our product. We still list trade-offs honestly. Global brands may win on US brand recognition. EnDetect wins on India pricing (PRO at ₹280), BPO templates, Gurgaon support, and deployment volume across 10,000+ customer environments. **Key takeaway:** Score on shift analytics, notice templates, and rupee TCO, not demo animations. We disclose EnDetect bias; validate every claim in your own trial. ### Quick comparison for Indian buyers EnDetect: Best for BPO/KPO, hybrid IT, and SMBs needing rupee plans, live view on PRO, Identity Verification add-on, and compliance exports. From ₹150/user/month; PRO at ₹280. Attendance, idle, and screenshots are the most common starting configuration. ActivTrak / Insightful: Strong analytics for US-centric SaaS teams. Verify INR billing, data residency, shift dashboards, and whether live view requires a higher tier before BPO rollout. EmpMonitor / local HR suites: Often cheaper entry tiers. Verify screenshot interval control, supervisor seat limits, and whether forensic exports exist for HR disputes. Free or open-source tools: Fine for five-person pilots. At 100+ seats with client PII, hidden costs appear: self-hosting, security patches, no DPDP-ready audit pack, and no path to live view for sensitive queues. **Key takeaway:** Match the tool to your shift model and audit language. Cheap entry tiers often fail on supervisor scaling and investigation exports. ### When EnDetect is the right fit Choose EnDetect if you run multi-shift operations, need client-ready utilization reports, or want optional DLP and identity checks without a second vendor. PRO covers most Indian SMEs needing live view for sensitive data handling. Enterprise adds compliance dashboards and on-prem for regulated sectors. Forensic add-on (full keystroke and URL history) fits roughly 20% of our customers, usually after a first insider or HR incident. Look elsewhere if you only need a free time tracker for five freelancers with no security or client audit requirements. **Key takeaway:** EnDetect fits BPO/KPO, hybrid IT, and any employer with real data risk. Skip it if you need only basic time tracking with no audit trail. ### Total cost of ownership in rupees Count seats, plan tier, add-ons (Identity Verification, Lite DLP, Forensic), and annual discount. A 300-agent BPO on PRO at ₹280 monthly pays ₹8.4 lakh per month before annual savings. ROI shortcut for planning: one recovered productive hour per day on a ₹50,000 salary seat is worth about ₹6,250 monthly vs ₹280 PRO cost (roughly 22x). We tell buyers to plan at 10x+ to stay conservative. Factor IT hours too: EnDetect MSI deploy typically beats custom scripts on 200+ seat Windows fleets. **Key takeaway:** Model TCO with seats, add-ons, and IT deploy time. One SLA miss or churn event often exceeds a year of PRO spend for a mid-size floor. ### What deployments actually use day one Across billions of logs in Indian deployments, attendance tracking, idle detection, and screenshots dominate initial configs. Live view rolls out next for supervisors handling payment data, healthcare records, or client screen audits. Full forensic logging stays rare until legal or security asks for it. PRO is the most common plan where managers need live view, smart alerts, and PDF exports for client reviews. CORE suits attendance-only rollouts or pilot teams validating policy language with HR. **Key takeaway:** Buy for what 80% of seats need on day one (attendance, idle, screenshots). Add live view and forensic depth only where role risk justifies it. ### Shortlist and trial in one week Day 1 to 2: Send three vendors your shift count, DPDP notice draft, and one client SLA clause that mentions utilization proof. Day 3 to 5: Run parallel 7-day trials on the same 30-seat team. Turn on attendance, idle alerts, and screenshots on all tools; test live view only on PRO-tier accounts. Day 6 to 7: Have one floor supervisor and one HR partner score exports, notice templates, and deploy time. Request an EnDetect quote with your exact seat count and we will model CORE vs PRO with annual discount included. **Key takeaway:** Trial on one real team with identical features enabled. Book a demo or start EnDetect's 7-day PRO trial before you sign an annual contract elsewhere. **FAQs:** **Q:** What is the best employee monitoring software for BPO in India? **A:** BPO buyers should prioritize shift analytics, screenshot evidence for clients, identity verification, and rupee pricing. EnDetect includes BPO policy templates and Identity Verification add-on; compare against your client contract requirements. **Q:** Do you rank EnDetect first because you sell it? **A:** We built EnDetect for Indian enterprises, so we disclose that bias. This page explains our scoring criteria so you can validate claims in a demo or trial. **Q:** Is free employee monitoring software enough? **A:** Free tiers rarely include DLP, forensic exports, or supervisor scaling for 100+ seats. Read our free vs trial guide for TCO before committing. **Q:** Which plan do most Indian teams pick? **A:** PRO is the most common for teams needing live view, alerts, and PDF exports. CORE suits attendance-only rollouts. Enterprise fits RBI, HIPAA, or on-prem requirements. Forensic add-on appears in about 20% of deployments after investigation needs arise. --- # What Is Employee Monitoring? A Plain Guide for India URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/what-is-employee-monitoring-india Category: Employee Monitoring | Jul 28, 2026 | 9 min read Employee monitoring explained for IT, HR, and BPO leaders: what tools collect, DPDP basics, and when visibility helps instead of hurts. ### What it is (and what it is not) Employee monitoring tracks work activity on company-owned devices and networks: login and attendance, idle time, application usage, periodic screenshots, and optional live screen view for supervisors. It is not the same as reading personal WhatsApp on a phone your company does not manage. Across 10,000+ EnDetect deployments, the most common starting stack is attendance plus idle timer plus screenshots. That trio gives floor managers enough signal for client SLAs without turning every desk into a keystroke surveillance zone. In India, BPO floors use monitoring for client proof. IT firms watch for code exfiltration before resignations. NBFC PII desks need audit trails on who opened which customer record. The goal is evidence and coaching, not watching every keystroke all day. **Key takeaway:** Monitoring on company systems is a business tool for security, SLA proof, and fair reviews. It is not blanket surveillance of personal devices. ### What good employee monitoring includes Clear employee notice before agents install. Role-based access so only authorized managers see reports. Retention limits aligned with the DPDP Act. Domain-level website tracking for productivity programs, with deeper forensic logs reserved for investigations. EnDetect processes billions of activity logs monthly across BPO, IT, and NBFC tenants. That scale means dashboards stay fast even when a Gurgaon BPO with 500+ agents runs peak US-hour reporting across three shifts. **Key takeaway:** Notice, role-based access, and retention limits are non-negotiable. Productivity tracking and forensic investigation are separate tiers, not one default setting. ### BPO, NBFC, and hybrid office scenarios A Gurgaon KPO client asks for proof that 120 agents were active during peak US hours. Activity timelines and screenshots answer that without a manager on every Zoom. Hybrid teams use the same metrics for in-office and WFH staff so reviews stay fair. At an NBFC PII desk, live view is reserved for roles handling loan applications and Aadhaar-linked data. Floor leads spot training gaps in real time instead of waiting for end-of-week Excel exports. Roughly 20% of EnDetect customers add the forensic module for investigations; the rest stay on attendance, idle, and screenshot baselines. **Key takeaway:** Match the monitoring tier to the risk: attendance and idle for most seats, live view for sensitive data roles, forensic only when investigations are a real operational need. ### Your next step List your top three reasons for monitoring (client SLA, insider risk, hybrid fairness) and map each to a feature tier. Run a 7-day PRO trial on one real team before rolling out to 500 seats. Ask your vendor to show a sample DPDP-ready notice and a screenshot retention policy you can paste into HR docs. **Key takeaway:** Pilot on a live team, document purpose before deploy, and never copy a global vendor's default retention settings without legal review. --- # Pros and Cons of Employee Monitoring (Honest HR View) URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/pros-and-cons-employee-monitoring Category: Employee Monitoring | Jul 25, 2026 | 10 min read When monitoring improves security and fairness, and when it backfires. Balanced guidance for Indian employers. ### Why the debate exists Employee monitoring is controversial because many deployments were secret. Done well, it reduces insider risk, supports client audits, and gives remote staff credit for work managers never saw. Done poorly, it destroys trust and chases the wrong metrics. We have seen both sides across 10,000+ deployments. Teams that publish scope and tie data to coaching keep attrition flat. Teams that turn on keystroke logging for everyone and punish bathroom breaks on voice queues see churn spike within two quarters. **Key takeaway:** The tool is neutral. Trust breaks when scope is hidden or metrics replace manager conversations. ### Pros: security, fairness, and client proof Notice-period data theft drops when USB and bulk download alerts fire early. BPO clients accept timestamped utilization reports. High performers finally get data backing their case in review cycles. A hybrid KPO in Pune recovered roughly one productive hour per agent per day after idle patterns exposed a broken handover process, not lazy staff. At PRO pricing of ₹280 per user per month, a ₹50,000/month agent whose hour is recovered delivers roughly 22x ROI on that seat alone. **Key takeaway:** Monitoring pays for itself when it fixes process gaps or prevents one exfiltration event, not when it replaces management. ### Cons: overreach and metric gaming Keystroke logging for everyone, not just investigations, invites pushback and DPDP scrutiny. Punishing bathroom breaks on a voice queue creates churn. Managers who only watch idle minutes skip the coaching conversation. Screenshot every 30 seconds on a dev team writing architecture docs produces noise, not insight. Agents learn to jiggle the mouse. You get green dashboards and the same SLA misses. **Key takeaway:** Over-collection breeds gaming. Reserve deep forensic capture for the ~20% of seats that actually need it. ### Making it work in India Publish scope, offer self-view where possible, tie monitoring to DPDP retention rules, and train managers to ask "what blocked you?" instead of "why were you idle?" Most EnDetect customers start with attendance, idle timer, and screenshots. Live view stays limited to sensitive data teams. Forensic modules activate only for IT notice-period policies or NBFC audit requirements. **Key takeaway:** Transparency and tiered rollout beat a big-bang deploy with maximum logging on day one. ### Your next step Draft a one-page monitoring policy with HR and legal before IT installs anything. Define three tiers: baseline (attendance, idle, screenshots), elevated (live view for PII or payment desks), forensic (notice-period or investigation only). Share the draft in a town hall and collect written questions before go-live. **Key takeaway:** Policy first, install second. Employees accept monitoring they were told about and can question. --- # Free vs Trial Employee Monitoring Software: Real TCO for India URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/free-vs-trial-employee-monitoring-software Category: Employee Monitoring | Jul 22, 2026 | 8 min read Why "free employee monitoring software" often costs more in security gaps, and how EnDetect's 7-day trial compares. ### Why "free" shows up in every RFP Search for free employee monitoring software and you will find open-source agents, freemium trackers, and YouTube lists. For a five-person startup, that may suffice. For a 200-seat BPO handling client PII, free tools rarely include DLP, forensic exports, or supervisor scaling. EnDetect runs on 10,000+ deployments processing billions of logs. Free tiers were not built for a Gurgaon BPO floor that needs shift dashboards, MSI silent deploy, and tamper-proof audit exports for a client security review next month. **Key takeaway:** Free fits tiny teams with low data risk. BPO, NBFC, and IT notice-period use cases need paid controls from day one. ### Hidden costs of free tools Self-hosting time, patch lag, no rupee support line, and audit packs your client security team will reject. One missed USB alert on an NBFC PII desk can exceed a year of PRO seats at ₹280 per user per month. Freemium caps on screenshots or retention mean you discover the gap mid-audit, not during trial. Re-deploying 500 agents costs more than the software you tried to save. **Key takeaway:** TCO includes breach cost, redeploy labor, and rejected audit packs. Free tools rarely price those in. ### Why we offer a trial instead of a forever-free tier EnDetect's 7-day trial on CORE and PRO includes full plan features, no credit card. You test live view, alerts, and reports on a real team before committing ₹150 to ₹280 per user per month. Most trial teams enable attendance, idle timer, and screenshots first. Sensitive data groups add live view. Roughly one in five later adds forensic for IT notice-period or compliance investigations. **Key takeaway:** A full-feature trial on real seats beats a crippled free tier that hides the cost of upgrading mid-contract. ### Your next step Pick one team of 15 to 30 agents for a PRO trial. Measure billable hours recovered in week two against PRO cost. If one hour per day comes back on a ₹50,000 salary agent, you are looking at roughly 22x ROI before you scale. Only then compare rupee quotes from shortlisted vendors. **Key takeaway:** Run the ROI math on a pilot team. Free vs paid debates end when recovered hours hit the finance sheet. --- # How to Choose Employee Monitoring Software in India URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/how-to-choose-employee-monitoring-software-india Category: Employee Monitoring | Jul 18, 2026 | 11 min read A decision framework for SMBs and BPOs: DPDP, rupee TCO, shift analytics, and vendor questions before you sign. ### Start with risk, not feature lists Choosing employee monitoring software in India starts with your risk profile: client SLA proof, insider threat, or basic attendance. List must-haves before comparing feature matrices from global vendors. A Gurgaon BPO with 500+ agents needs shift analytics and client-ready PDF exports. An NBFC PII desk needs USB blocking and privileged user logs. An IT services firm needs notice-period forensic timelines. Same product category, three different buy criteria. **Key takeaway:** Write your top three risks on one slide. Every vendor demo should map back to those, not a generic feature tour. ### Evaluation checklist Rupee or stable billing, DPDP-ready notice and retention, shift dashboards for BPO, live view vs screenshot needs, MSI deploy for Windows fleets, and export formats your auditors accept. Ask whether the vendor processes billions of logs without dashboard lag at your seat count. EnDetect serves 10,000+ deployments; a five-person SaaS may choke at 800 agents on a Monday morning report. **Key takeaway:** Scale, rupee billing, and audit export formats eliminate half the market before you sit through demos. ### Questions to ask vendors Where is data stored? Who can access screenshots? Is keystroke logging optional? What happens on offboarding? EnDetect answers these in demo and trial; ask every shortlisted vendor the same list. Confirm whether live view and forensic modules are separate toggles. Most teams need attendance, idle, and screenshots only. Paying for forensic on every seat wastes budget unless ~20% of users truly need investigation-grade capture. **Key takeaway:** Identical question lists across vendors expose hand-wavy compliance answers fast. ### Your next step Score three vendors on a spreadsheet: DPDP readiness, rupee TCO at your headcount, shift reporting, and MSI deploy. Run parallel 7-day trials on the top two with the same 20-agent pilot group. Pick the vendor whose exports your client or RBI auditor actually accepts, not the one with the longest feature PDF. **Key takeaway:** Parallel pilots on the same team beat RFP poetry. Export a sample audit pack before you sign. --- # How to Manage Remote Teams Without Micromanaging URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/manage-remote-teams-without-micromanaging Category: Remote Work | Feb 20, 2026 | 8 min read The right balance between visibility and trust. Practical strategies for managers of remote and hybrid teams. ### Visibility is not constant check-ins Remote work is permanent for most Indian enterprises, but many managers still equate oversight with hourly pings on Teams. That burns out teams and hides the signals you need: whether work happened, goals were met, and risks are emerging. Structured transparency works better: clear expectations, measurable output, and tools that support coaching. Across EnDetect deployments, hybrid KPO teams that share what is measured report fewer "are you at your desk?" messages and faster SLA recovery. **Key takeaway:** Replace ping culture with published metrics and weekly outcomes. Managers gain time back too. ### Set outcomes, not screen time Productive remote management starts with defined deliverables. Replace vague "stay online" rules with weekly targets, response-time SLAs for support teams, and documented core hours for collaboration. When expectations are explicit, activity data becomes context for coaching rather than a scorecard for punishment. A ₹50,000/month analyst whose manager recovers one hour per day of blocked time through process fixes delivers roughly 22x return on a PRO seat at ₹280 per user per month. **Key takeaway:** Outcome definitions must exist before idle percentages mean anything in a 1:1. ### Use visibility for patterns, not policing Activity timelines help you spot trends: recurring idle blocks, sudden drops in productive app usage, or teams that miss peak-hour coverage. Address patterns in 1:1s with questions, not accusations. Share with employees what is measured and why. Most EnDetect rollouts start with attendance, idle timer, and screenshots. Live view stays limited to sensitive data roles, not every WFH login. **Key takeaway:** Trend data opens coaching conversations. Single idle snapshots close them. ### BPO and hybrid floor scenarios A Noida voice queue misses ASA targets every Tuesday afternoon. Activity data shows a recurring training gap, not laziness. Fix the playbook instead of sending generic "stay active" emails. Night-shift BPO teams in Hyderabad often lose an hour to handover confusion. Shift analytics show where overlap fails so you staff the bridge, not just blame agents. **Key takeaway:** Recurring patterns almost always point to process or staffing, not individual slacking. ### Coach with data, celebrate wins Use the same dashboards to recognize top performers and remove blockers. If one squad consistently outperforms, document their habits and share playbooks across teams. Micromanagement ends when managers shift from "are you working?" to "what do you need to hit this week's target?" **Key takeaway:** Dashboards that only feed warnings waste the goodwill transparency could build. ### Your next step This week, replace one daily "status?" ping with a shared weekly outcome doc and a 15-minute pattern review using idle and attendance data. Publish a short FAQ on what EnDetect collects on company laptops. Ask each report: "What blocked you yesterday?" before you open the idle report. **Key takeaway:** One team, one week, one less ping habit. Scale the playbook only after agents stop flinching at the dashboard. --- # The 7 Most Common Ways Employees Leak Corporate Data URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/common-ways-employees-leak-corporate-data Category: Data Security | Feb 15, 2026 | 12 min read USB drives, personal email, WhatsApp, and more. Here's how insiders exfiltrate data, and how to stop them. ### Insider leaks beat Hollywood hacks Most data leaks are everyday actions: copying files to a personal drive, forwarding attachments to a personal inbox, or uploading documents to an unapproved cloud app. EnDetect's billions of processed logs show the same seven channels in BPO, NBFC, and IT tenants. Understanding the channels is the first step to controls that work. Global advice about "zero trust" means little if your NBFC PII desk still allows unrestricted USB writes. **Key takeaway:** Insider exfiltration is boring and repeatable. Map the seven channels before you buy another firewall SKU. ### 1. USB and removable media USB sticks remain the fastest path for bulk exfiltration. Policies should combine blocking, whitelisting approved devices, and alerts when large copy jobs occur. A regional NBFC cut USB-related policy violations 90% in one quarter after blocking writes in payment processing zones and alerting on large copy jobs to unapproved drives. **Key takeaway:** Block and alert beats policy PDFs alone. USB events are easy to log and hard to deny. ### 2. Personal email and messaging Employees use Gmail, WhatsApp Web, or Telegram to move files they cannot send through corporate mail. Monitor outbound attachments and restrict personal webmail where policy requires it. BPO agents handling client PAN copies often treat personal WhatsApp as a workaround when CRM upload fails. Fix the workflow and log the channel. **Key takeaway:** Messaging exfiltration is usually a process failure first and a malice problem second. ### 3. Personal cloud storage Dropbox, Google Drive personal accounts, and WeTransfer bypass network firewalls when accessed in the browser. Shadow IT discovery shows which services are in use before you block them. An IT services firm surfaced 40+ unsanctioned SaaS tools in a first EnDetect scan. Half the upload risk was tools managers did not know existed. **Key takeaway:** You cannot block what you have not discovered. Scan before you publish a block list. ### 4. Printing and screenshots Sensitive reports still leave via print jobs or screen captures. Log print activity and use screenshot policies aligned with role sensitivity. Most deployments use periodic screenshots for SLA proof. Live view stays reserved for sensitive data teams where real-time oversight beats after-the-fact thumbnails. **Key takeaway:** Screenshot frequency should match role sensitivity, not a single global setting. ### 5. Departing employees Notice periods are high-risk windows. Elevate monitoring, revoke access early for critical systems, and preserve forensic timelines if investigation is needed. Roughly 20% of EnDetect customers run the forensic module, often tied to IT notice-period policies. Archive creation, bulk download, and after-hours repo access spike in the two weeks before last working day. **Key takeaway:** Notice-period elevation is a policy toggle, not a permanent surveillance mode. ### 6. Shared credentials and proxy work Shared logins let the wrong person sit at the keyboard while attendance shows the assigned agent. BPO clients pay for certified agents; proxy work is billing fraud and a data leak vector combined. Identity checks during sensitive tasks close the gap between "someone logged in" and "the right person is working." **Key takeaway:** Authentication without identity verification leaves a proxy-shaped hole in your audit trail. ### 7. Shadow IT and unsanctioned SaaS Engineers spin up free-tier tools for convenience. Customer PII ends up in spreadsheets on personal Notion accounts. Discovery plus block policies beat annual security lectures. **Key takeaway:** Shadow IT is a leak channel and a cost problem. Treat discovery as quarterly hygiene. ### Your next step Run a 30-day baseline on USB events, personal cloud domains, and bulk download alerts across one high-risk department (NBFC payments, dev team with client IP, or BPO PII queue). Present counts to security and HR. Enable blocking on the noisiest channel first, not all seven at once. **Key takeaway:** Baseline, then block the worst channel. Simultaneous lockdown on all seven breeds workarounds. --- # India's DPDP Act: What IT & HR Teams Need to Know URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/india-dpdp-act-it-hr-guide Category: Compliance | Feb 10, 2026 | 10 min read A plain-language guide to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and what it means for workforce monitoring. ### Why IT and HR must co-own monitoring The Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) sets expectations for how organizations in India collect and process personal data, including employee and contractor information gathered through workforce monitoring tools. IT deploys controls. HR owns notice, consent where required, and grievance handling. Neither team alone satisfies an auditor asking about screenshot retention on an NBFC PII desk. **Key takeaway:** Split ownership fails audits. Joint policy sign-off before deploy is the minimum bar. ### Employee monitoring in the workplace Monitoring employee activity on company systems is a common DPDP use case: security, productivity measurement, fraud prevention, or regulatory audit. Personal data includes activity logs, screenshots, and optional identity photos. Document the purpose in your monitoring policy, limit collection to work devices, and define who may access reports. Avoid monitoring personal devices or off-duty activity unless law and contract clearly allow it. **Key takeaway:** Company devices, stated purpose, named accessors. Those three phrases belong in every monitoring policy. ### Lawful purpose and notice Processing employee activity data needs a clear purpose: security, productivity measurement, compliance, or fraud prevention. Employees should receive understandable notice describing what is collected, retention periods, and who can access reports. EnDetect customers typically disclose attendance, idle time, and screenshots in onboarding packs. Live view and forensic capture get separate callouts because they collect richer data. **Key takeaway:** Tiered disclosure matches tiered collection. Do not bury live view in generic IT acceptable-use boilerplate. ### Data minimization Collect only what you need. Domain-level website tracking may suffice for productivity programs; full URL or keystroke logging should be reserved for investigations with stricter approval. Across 10,000+ deployments, most seats run attendance, idle, and screenshots. Forensic depth on every user violates minimization and annoys engineers who never touch client data. **Key takeaway:** Minimization is a settings choice, not a legal footnote. Default to the lightest tier that meets your risk. ### Retention and access rights Define retention schedules and deletion after offboarding plus your legal hold window. Be prepared to respond to access requests about personal data your monitoring systems store. Billions of logs require automated retention jobs. Manual spreadsheet tracking breaks at BPO scale within a single quarter. **Key takeaway:** Set retention in the product, not in a wiki page nobody updates. ### Using EnDetect responsibly Configure role-based access, document policies, export audit logs for regulators, and review settings when DPDP rules and guidance evolve. NBFC and BPO auditors increasingly ask for tamper-proof exports. Plan export formats before the examination, not the week of. **Key takeaway:** Responsible use is provable access control plus exportable evidence, not a trust-us slide. ### FAQ: quick answers for HR Do we need consent for monitoring? Often notice and legitimate purpose suffice for employment contexts, but legal review is essential. Can employees see their data? Plan for access requests. Can we keep screenshots for a year? Match retention to policy and DPDP minimization principles. **Key takeaway:** HR FAQs should mirror your actual EnDetect settings, not generic legal language. ### Your next step Schedule a 90-minute working session with HR, IT, and legal. Bring your current monitoring settings: screenshot interval, retention days, live view roles, forensic users. Output a one-page DPDP appendix you attach to offer letters and contractor SOWs. **Key takeaway:** Settings review first, policy PDF second. Mismatch between them is what regulators notice. --- # Why Productivity Tracking Actually Improves Employee Trust URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/productivity-tracking-and-employee-trust Category: Productivity | Feb 5, 2026 | 7 min read Research-backed case for transparent productivity monitoring, and why employees often prefer it to vague performance reviews. ### The trust problem was secrecy, not data Productivity tracking has a reputation problem because many tools were deployed secretly. Transparent programs flip the narrative: employees know what is measured, managers use consistent criteria, and high performers get credit for work that was previously invisible. Hybrid KPO staff told us they prefer known metrics to vague "you seem disengaged" feedback in Zoom reviews. The metric is not the enemy. Surprise is. **Key takeaway:** Trust rises when measurement rules are public and applied evenly, not when tracking stops. ### Fairness beats guesswork Subjective reviews favor visibility in the office. Remote staff often feel judged on attendance in chat tools rather than output. Objective activity and deliverable data reduce bias when used as one input among many. A Gurgaon BPO team used idle and attendance data to prove 120 agents covered US peak hours during a client dispute. The agents who carried the shift got named credit in the QBR instead of a generic team thank-you. **Key takeaway:** Data defends good work as often as it flags gaps. Use it for both. ### Transparency builds buy-in Publish monitoring scope in onboarding packs and internal FAQs. Offer employees a view of their own stats where policy allows. Clarify that live view monitors the work screen, while Identity Verification handles scheduled, random, or on-demand employee photo capture. Most EnDetect rollouts disclose attendance, idle timer, and screenshots upfront. Live view is described as a limited role-based control for sensitive data teams, not a default. **Key takeaway:** Self-view where policy allows turns dashboards from surveillance into a mirror employees can improve against. ### Focus on enablement Use insights to fix broken processes: outdated software, unclear priorities, or teams understaffed at peak hours. When data leads to support instead of punishment, trust improves. Recovered time has a rupee value. One hour per day back on a ₹50,000 salary seat is roughly 22x ROI on PRO at ₹280 per user per month when the hour goes to billable client work. **Key takeaway:** Enablement ROI is measurable. Share recovered hours with finance, not just ops. ### Your next step Add a "what we measure and why" slide to your next team meeting. Enable self-view for one pilot squad if your policy allows. Track whether 1:1 satisfaction scores improve over four weeks before you expand. **Key takeaway:** Pilot transparency on one squad. Expand only after agents cite fairness, not fear, in feedback. --- # Proxy Work in BPOs: The Hidden Problem Costing Crores URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/proxy-work-bpo-hidden-problem Category: BPO | Jan 28, 2026 | 9 min read One in three BPOs faces systematic proxy work. Here's the data, the impact, and how identity verification solves it. ### When the logged-in user is not the assigned agent Proxy work happens when the person at the workstation is not the employee assigned to the shift. Clients pay for certified agents; operations teams discover billing leakage only during audits or spot checks. A Gurgaon BPO with 500+ agents flagged proxy patterns when attendance showed login but application usage matched a different skill profile. Client billing and data access rules both broke at once. **Key takeaway:** Proxy work is fraud and a data breach. Treat it as both, not an HR attendance issue alone. ### Why it persists in remote and hybrid BPO Distributed sites, shared credentials, and weak physical access controls make impersonation easy. Traditional attendance systems prove someone punched in, not who is at the keyboard. Hybrid KPO models made it worse: agents share flats, swap shifts informally, and clients never see the floor. EnDetect login logs without identity checks tell you a session existed, not who typed. **Key takeaway:** Login events are not identity proof. BPOs need verification layered on attendance. ### Business impact in rupees and SLAs Revenue leakage, SLA penalties, and client churn follow repeated incidents. HR investigations without technical evidence rarely hold up in disputes. One proxy agent on a billed seat for six months at ₹280 PRO plus client rate leakage can cost more than a year of identity verification controls across the team. **Key takeaway:** Finance should model proxy leakage as a line item, not an ops anecdote. ### Identity verification as a control Scheduled, random, and on-demand photo verification matched to HR profile images, plus on-demand checks during sensitive tasks and alerts on mismatches, give operations defensible identity proof alongside live screen monitoring when needed. Pair identity checks with attendance, idle timer, and screenshots, the same baseline most EnDetect BPO customers already run. Live view stays for escalations, not every seat. **Key takeaway:** Scheduled, random, and on-demand photo capture gives BPO teams identity proof alongside live screen monitoring. ### Your next step Pick one client campaign with strict agent certification rules. Enable identity verification on that pod only for 30 days. Compare mismatch alerts to manual spot-check results. Present findings to the client success team before you scale floor-wide. **Key takeaway:** One certified campaign, one measured month. Client proof beats internal debate. --- # Insider Threats: The Employee About to Quit Is Your Biggest Risk URL: https://endetect.com/resources/blog/insider-threats-during-notice-period Category: Security | Jan 20, 2026 | 11 min read Analysis of insider incidents reveals a clear pattern. What to watch for during the notice period. ### The notice-period spike is real Insider incidents spike before departure: large downloads, after-hours access, personal cloud uploads, and USB copies. Motives vary from negligence to deliberate theft of client lists, code, or financial models. EnDetect forensic timelines across IT services tenants show archive creation and repo bulk access clustering in the final 10 working days. Billions of daily logs make those spikes visible against a personal baseline. **Key takeaway:** Notice period is a distinct risk window. Policy should change automatically when HR marks resignation. ### Signals to monitor Mass file access, archive creation, email attachments to personal domains, new USB devices, and access to systems outside normal role patterns. User behavior analytics baselines make these anomalies visible early. An IT services firm with 150 engineers caught three departure-related incidents before data left the environment using elevated notice-period policies. Investigation time dropped 65% versus manual log collection. **Key takeaway:** Baseline normal first. Alerts without baseline noise are useless on Monday morning. ### Playbook for notice periods Apply elevated monitoring policies, shorten access to high-risk repositories, require manager approval for large exports, and preserve logs before account deprovisioning. Roughly 20% of EnDetect customers license the forensic module, often mapped to notice-period workflows. The other 80% still get USB alerts and cloud upload blocks without full keystroke capture on every engineer. **Key takeaway:** Elevated policy is temporary and role-scoped. Turn it off after offboarding plus legal hold. ### Legal and HR alignment Coordinate with legal on admissible evidence collection. EnDetect forensic exports should be pulled by authorized investigators with chain-of-custody documentation. IT notice-period forensic without HR trigger lists creates DPDP exposure. HR resignation date should auto-tag the elevated policy. **Key takeaway:** Chain of custody starts at alert triage, not after lawyers get involved. ### Your next step Draft a one-page notice-period playbook with HR and legal: trigger event, elevated settings, repo access cuts, forensic export owner. Test it on the next voluntary resignation in engineering before you automate at scale. **Key takeaway:** Run the playbook once manually. Automate only after investigators confirm the export meets legal bar. --- # Leading BPO (500+ Agents) URL: https://endetect.com/resources/case-studies/leading-bpo-agent-utilization Industry: BPO / KPO **Challenge:** Agent utilization stuck at 58% billable hours across Gurgaon, Pune, and Hyderabad sites; client SLA credits cost ₹6.2L in Q1 **Result:** Utilization rose to 77% in 60 days; ₹42L annualized savings; 18% drop in attrition on monitored teams ### The situation A multi-city BPO serving financial services clients struggled with inconsistent agent utilization. Site managers relied on manual spot checks and end-of-day reports that arrived too late to fix intraday staffing gaps. Client SLA reviews flagged 58% average billable utilization against an 80% contract target. Q1 SLA credits totaled ₹6.2 lakh before leadership approved a monitoring rollout. **Key takeaway:** Manual spot checks cannot fix intraday gaps on a 500+ agent floor. ### Deployment EnDetect rolled out to 520 agents over three weeks using silent MSI deployment and a BPO policy template. Team leads received dashboards for productive hours, idle time, and application categories aligned to client SLAs. The stack matched what most EnDetect BPO customers use: attendance, idle timer, and periodic screenshots. Live view was limited to a 40-seat PII queue handling loan verification callbacks. **Key takeaway:** Baseline monitoring on the full floor, live view only where client data sensitivity demanded it. ### What changed in 60 days Billable utilization climbed from 58% to 77%. Operations identified three teams with recurring off-peak idle patterns and rebalanced shifts. Handover overlap added 35 minutes of productive coverage on US peak hours. Annualized savings from recovered billable hours exceeded ₹42 lakh. Attrition on monitored teams dropped 18% after managers replaced idle warnings with "what blocked you?" coaching. **Key takeaway:** Recovered hours and lower churn both showed up when data fed coaching, not warnings. ### Replicate this If your utilization gap is similar, pilot EnDetect PRO on one site and one shift for 30 days. Compare billable hours week over week before MSI deploy to the full floor. Target one hour recovered per agent per day on a ₹50,000 salary seat for roughly 22x ROI on PRO at ₹280 per user per month. **Key takeaway:** One site, one shift, 30 days. Scale MSI deploy only after utilization moves on the pilot. --- # Regional NBFC (200 Employees) URL: https://endetect.com/resources/case-studies/regional-nbfc-compliance Industry: BFSI **Challenge:** RBI IT Framework exam in 90 days; 47 open findings on privileged access logging; 12 USB exfiltration attempts in prior quarter **Result:** Zero open findings at exam; policy violations down 90%; audit prep time cut from 6 weeks to 4 days ### The situation A regional NBFC needed demonstrable controls for privileged users and customer data environments ahead of an RBI IT examination. Legacy logging was fragmented across systems. Internal pre-audit listed 47 open findings on privileged access evidence. The prior quarter logged 12 USB exfiltration attempts on payment processing workstations. **Key takeaway:** Fragmented logs fail RBI exams. Endpoint evidence must map to named controls. ### Approach EnDetect PRO deployed to 200 employees with USB blocking in payment processing zones, privileged user monitoring on 28 high-risk seats, and monthly compliance exports mapped to RBI IT Framework controls. The NBFC PII desk added live view for 22 seats handling Aadhaar-linked applications. Forensic module stayed off for general back-office staff to match DPDP minimization. **Key takeaway:** Block USB where money moves, live view where PII concentrates, forensic only if investigations require it. ### Outcome Examination closed with zero open findings on workforce monitoring controls. Personal cloud upload violations fell 90% in the first quarter after blocking and employee notice. Audit preparation time dropped from six weeks of manual log stitching to four days of EnDetect export packaging. Examiners received tamper-proof activity evidence on request during the on-site review. **Key takeaway:** Export-ready evidence packages beat slide decks when examiners ask for proof. ### Replicate this Map your RBI control list to EnDetect exports before deploy. Run a 7-day PRO trial on payment processing and PII desks first. Bring sample exports to your internal audit team and ask what is missing before the regulator does. **Key takeaway:** Internal audit rejection of a sample export is cheaper than an examiner rejection. --- # Multi-Campus Hospital Group URL: https://endetect.com/resources/case-studies/hospital-group-hipaa-readiness Industry: Healthcare **Challenge:** PHI access blind spots across 4 campuses; 23 unauthorized after-hours EMR queries flagged in internal audit **Result:** Zero workforce-channel PHI breaches in 18 months; 2 HIPAA audits passed; after-hours anomalies down 81% ### The situation A hospital group with administrative and clinical staff across four campuses required PHI access visibility without disrupting care workflows. An internal audit flagged 23 unauthorized after-hours EMR queries with no workforce attribution trail. HIPAA auditors had cited workforce access review gaps on the prior cycle. **Key takeaway:** EMR logs alone do not show who sat at the workstation. Endpoint context completes the picture. ### Controls Role-based policies by department, EMR usage tracking, and alerts on after-hours access to clinical systems. On-premise deployment option kept data within the hospital's infrastructure boundary. Administrative staff ran attendance, idle, and screenshot baselines. Clinical workstations with PHI access added live view for compliance officers during investigation windows only. **Key takeaway:** On-prem option plus role tiers let clinical workflows continue while access reviews get evidence. ### Impact No PHI breach incidents attributed to workforce channels over 18 months. After-hours access anomalies dropped 81% after alerts and manager review cycles began. Two HIPAA audits completed with EnDetect evidence for workforce access reviews. Investigators received user-attributed session timelines instead of shared-login ambiguity. **Key takeaway:** Attributed session evidence turns workforce access reviews from checkbox exercises into findings you can close. ### Replicate this Start with after-hours EMR access alerts on one campus. Compare alert volume to internal audit findings for 60 days. Expand role-based policies campus by campus only after compliance officers sign off on retention settings. **Key takeaway:** One campus, after-hours alerts first. Scale after false-positive rates are tolerable for nursing supervisors. --- # IT Services Company (150 Engineers) URL: https://endetect.com/resources/case-studies/it-services-insider-incidents Industry: IT & ITeS **Challenge:** Two confirmed source-code exfiltration events in 12 months; average forensic investigation took 19 days with incomplete logs **Result:** 3 notice-period incidents stopped pre-exfiltration; investigation time cut to 6.5 days; 40+ shadow SaaS apps surfaced ### The situation An IT services firm delivering client projects faced recurring fears of source code and credential exfiltration when engineers resigned. Two confirmed exfiltration events in 12 months involved departing engineers using personal cloud uploads. Average internal investigation took 19 days because VPN and git logs lacked endpoint context. **Key takeaway:** Server logs without endpoint behavior tell you files moved, not how they left the laptop. ### Solution EnDetect with elevated monitoring for notice periods, cloud upload blocking, and forensic add-on for investigations. Shadow IT discovery surfaced 40+ unsanctioned SaaS tools in the first scan. Roughly 30 engineers on active client IP projects received forensic depth during notice period. The remaining 120 ran attendance, idle, and USB/cloud alerts without full keystroke capture. **Key takeaway:** Forensic on notice-period and IP-heavy roles matches how ~20% of EnDetect customers deploy the module. ### Results Three departure-related incidents were detected before data left the environment: bulk repo archive, personal cloud upload attempt, and USB copy to unapproved drive. Investigation timelines improved from 19 days to 6.5 days average using EnDetect forensic exports with chain-of-custody tags. Legal closed two cases with packaged evidence instead of disk imaging every laptop. **Key takeaway:** Stopping exfiltration beats post-leak forensics. Faster investigations reduce client notification risk. ### Replicate this Connect HR resignation dates to an elevated EnDetect policy this quarter. Run shadow IT discovery once before you block uploads. On the next notice-period exit, time how long forensic export takes versus your old manual log pull. **Key takeaway:** HR-triggered elevation plus one timed investigation drill proves ROI before the next resignation. --- # Pricing Policy URL: https://endetect.com/legal/pricing-policy At EnDetect, we are committed to offering transparent, competitive, and value-driven pricing for businesses of all sizes. 1. It supplements the Terms of Service and Support policies. 1. Scope This SLA covers the EnDetect cloud admin console, agent check-in and policy delivery, standard dashboards, and email support for production incidents. It does not cover trial-only accounts, on-premise deployments unless stated on the order, or issues caused by Customer network blocks, endpoint security tools quarantining agents, or unsupported operating systems. 2. Uptime target We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the hosted admin console and ingestion APIs, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance. Uptime is measured per calendar month. Maintenance windows prefer IST off-peak hours where practicable. 3. Severity definitions - Critical (P1): Production admin console unavailable or widespread agent check-in failure affecting most licensed users. - Major (P2): Material feature degradation (reports not generating, alerts not firing) with a workaround unavailable. - Minor (P3): Non-critical defect or single-team impact with a reasonable workaround. - General (P4): How-to questions, configuration guidance, or cosmetic issues. 4. Response and resolution targets Business hours for SLA clocks: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, excluding Indian public holidays. | Severity | First response target | Resolution target | |----------|----------------------|-------------------| | Critical (P1) | 4 business hours | 24 to 48 business hours | | Major (P2) | 1 business day | 2 to 3 business days | | Minor (P3) | 1 business day | 5 to 7 business days | | General (P4) | 2 business days | 7 business days | Resolution means restoration of service or delivery of an agreed workaround. Root-cause fixes for non-critical defects may ship in a subsequent release with a communicated timeline. 5. Customer cooperation To meet SLA targets, Customer will provide: (a) a technical point of contact; (b) affected user counts and sample agent IDs; (c) network/firewall details when agents cannot check in; (d) permission for EnDetect support to access a test workstation when needed. Delays caused by missing cooperation pause SLA clocks. 6. Exclusions SLA credits do not apply to failures caused by: (a) force majeure; (b) Customer misconfiguration; (c) third-party ISP or cloud outages outside EnDetect control; (d) beta or preview features; (e) issues on endpoints where agents were disabled by Customer policy or antivirus; (f) quota exhaustion due to unlicensed user growth. 7. Service credits If we miss the monthly uptime target, eligible Customers may request a service credit equal to 5% of that month's subscription fees for each full 1% below 99.5%, capped at 25% of monthly fees. Credits are applied to future invoices, not cash refunds. Requests must be filed within 15 days of month end with ticket reference numbers. 8. Backups and data Cloud-hosted Customer Data is backed up on a rolling schedule appropriate to the deployment region. Customer administrators control retention windows in-console. Customer remains responsible for exporting audit packages required by internal policy or regulators. 9. Escalation If a P1 ticket exceeds 8 business hours without meaningful update, reply to the ticket with "ESCALATE" or email support@endetect.com with the ticket ID. Escalated tickets are reviewed by senior support and engineering on-call. 10. Changes to this SLA We may update this SLA with 30 days' notice for material changes. Continued use of paid Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance. 11. Contact Open tickets: support@endetect.com Legal notices: legal@endetect.com | +91 9711 28 6969 ---
