This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") is between EnDetect and the organization that installs EnDetect client software ("Customer").
1. Grant of license
Subject to payment and compliance with the Terms of Service, EnDetect grants Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the agent software in object-code form on workstations owned or controlled by Customer for internal business purposes during the subscription term.
2. Restrictions
Customer and users may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where law expressly permits; (b) sublicense, rent, or sell the software; (c) remove proprietary notices; (d) use the software to build a competing product; (e) exceed licensed user counts or environments stated on the order.
3. Ownership
EnDetect and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the software, documentation, and trademarks. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.
4. Updates
EnDetect may provide updates, patches, or policy templates. Critical security updates may be deployed automatically where configured by Customer administrators.
5. Open-source components
The software may include open-source components governed by their respective licenses, listed in product documentation upon request.
6. Warranty disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. See Disclaimer and Terms of Service for limitation of liability.
7. Termination
This license ends when the subscription ends or is terminated for breach. Customer must uninstall agents and cease use. Sections on ownership, restrictions, and limitations survive termination.
8. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
